It is not a plumbing inspection, engineering opinion, permit determination, or guarantee of price, availability, workmanship, rebate eligibility, equipment performance, savings, or contractor response.

The Quote Brief is useful on its own. If you ask Water Heater Prep to seek offers, you may set a target price for the installed job. The target is not a commitment by you or by any plumber. A plumber may accept the target, counter with another price, or pass, and you may accept or ignore any response.

We may start with a small number of providers that appear to fit the job and expand the search if needed. We do not promise that a provider will respond, meet the target, or be available on your preferred schedule. Provider fit may consider service area, job capability, reputation, reliability, timing, and price rather than price alone.

Any preliminary price still depends on the actual installation and the plumber verifying the job in person. You remain free to use any plumber you choose or to stop without selecting an offer.

Water Heater Prep service fee. There is no upfront cost. The $20 service fee applies only if you choose a plumber Water Heater Prep finds and that plumber completes the job. The plumber adds the $20 Water Heater Prep service fee to your final bill. If you do not use a plumber we find, or no job is completed, you do not owe Water Heater Prep a service fee.
